Mini fridge capacity estimator
Count what you actually plan to keep cold and this tool estimates the capacity you need. The working figures: a 12-oz can ≈ 0.016 cu ft of usable space including typical packing loss, a wine bottle ≈ 0.045 cu ft, a frozen meal box ≈ 0.035 cu ft, and a 2-liter bottle ≈ 0.09 cu ft. As a rule of thumb, a 1.6 cu ft cube holds roughly a case and a half of cans; 3.2 cu ft adds real food storage; 4.5 cu ft approaches an apartment backup fridge. These are estimates — shelf layout and door bins change what really fits.
What will you keep in it?
Raw estimate 0.19 cu ft, rounded up to the nearest 0.5. These are typical-packing estimates, not exact — shelf layout, door bins, and a freezer compartment all change what really fits.
